FAQs

Will sessions be in person or online?

You have the option to have sessions online via Telehealth or in person at my office located at:

5610 N. Ash St., Spokane

How do payments work?

Sessions are $130 for individuals, $140 for couples and $150 for families (up to 5 people). Payments are due at the time of service and will be charged through a program called Simple Practice. I do not file insurance and am usually considered an out-of-network provider. As requested, I will provide you with itemized statements that you can submit to your insurance company for reimbursement. However, you and not your insurance company are responsible for full payment of my fees.

How many sessions should I expect?

Therapy is an interactive partnership between a client and a therapist. We will meet and discuss your goals for therapy and discuss progress together. For this reason, the duration of therapy varies for each person. Some people work through a specific goal within eight sessions, while others remain in a therapeutic alliance for much longer.

What if therapy isn’t going well?

One common concern that people have when considering starting therapy is how to end it if it isn’t going well. Understandably, people don’t want to feel stuck in a therapeutic relationship that isn’t moving them toward their goals. Sometimes, your therapist is not the right fit. If that is the case, I will work to help find a therapist that will work best for you. Your needs are not a problem!

What If I can’t make an appointment?

If you cannot attend a session due to illness or an emergency, please notify me as soon as possible via text or email. If you do not attend an appointment or fail to cancel at least 24 hours before, you will be responsible for paying 100% of your fee for the missed session. If you are late for your appointment, you will be charged the full fee, and the appointment will end at the scheduled time. Fees for no-shows and cancellations without 24 hours' notice must be paid by the beginning of your next therapy session. The therapy process requires commitment from both the therapist and the client. I value our time together. Multiple canceled appointments will result in the discontinuation of services.
